Welcome to my blog!

I decided to create this blog after hearing from clients how important it is to be able to get a sense of a provider before agreeing to meet. I’ve never been the type of person who enjoys talking about myself and I’m also staunchly anti-social media so I thought I’d lean into something I enjoy – writing – to give you a better idea of who I am while also sharing some interesting insights I’ve gathered after years in the industry (inspired by many of the questions I’m asked when spending private time with clients).

I have several of these posts drafted already and plan to share them soon. However, I need to start first with something more urgent which, ironically, does to pertain to a question that I’m often asked – have I had any bad experiences in the industry?

Until this month, my answer was an unequivocal “no” (with the exception of one coked-up client who spent our appointment hovering by the window, paranoid the police were after him). Unfortunately, earlier this month I was targeted by a client (verified through P411, possibly with a fake ID) who attempted to secretly record me on three devices hidden around his hotel room. I pressed charges here in the UK, the police found the recordings and he ultimately pled guilty and was only required to pay a fine before being released. Sadly, they found other secret recordings of other providers and after speaking to some women in New York, it’s clear that this man is a known serial predator. But don’t worry, I’ve hired a private investigator to track him down, ruin his life and ensure he never does something like this again.

I have always approached every new client with openness and trust, which I feel is what allows me to form a great connection. To have that trust violated has been a huge blow to me. For a brief moment, I even considered retiring permanently from the industry, but I absolutely love my job and I refuse to let him take that away from me. However, I do need to make some changes to keep myself safe and comfortable so that I can continue to provide the type of meaningful experience that clients have come to expect from me.

From now on, I will ask clients to please put away all devices when we’re spending time together, ideally in a different room. I’ve also bought a hidden camera detector and will do a quick sweep of all rooms at the start of each session to pick up any red light from recording devices. I’m also taking a closer look at my offer and considering requiring a 1.5 hour or 2 hour minimum for all bookings in the hopes that this might filter out clients who see me as more of an object than a person. I’ll be trialing this first with clients in the US before deciding whether to implement this with my UK clients. I will also require at least 2 provider references for outcalls to a client’s personal residence. It’s possible I’ll need to make more changes, like requiring picture ID or employment verification, but I’d like to leave that as a last resort. I value your privacy as much as mine and don’t want to make it too cumbersome to book time with me.

I really appreciate you taking the time to read this and your patience as I learn how to navigate a slightly different way of working. A big thank you too to those clients who have offered their support this week (and my ex-client/best friend Steve who is helping me with this client’s takedown). For now, I’m off to Egypt for some last-minute R&R and will return fresh and ready to get back to work. 🙂
